Travel Agent
Were looking for a travel agent to help clients plan and book memorable tripswhether a weekend getaway a multi-country adventure or a corporate travel itinerary.
What Youll Do
- Consult with clients to understand their travel goals preferences and budget
- Research and recommend destinations accommodations transportation tours and activities
- Book flights hotels car rentals cruises and travel packages
- Arrange visas travel insurance and other documentation as needed
- Monitor bookings and proactively communicate changes delays or disruptions
- Resolve issues that arise before or during travel
- Stay current on travel trends destination updates entry requirements and supplier offerings
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors to secure competitive rates and perks
What Were Looking For
- Experience: Prior work in travel planning hospitality or customer service preferred but not required we train!
- Destination knowledge: Familiarity with popular and emerging travel destinations
- Booking systems: Comfort with online booking tools
- Communication: Strong listening skills and clear friendly written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving: Calm under pressure resourceful when plans change
- Detail orientation: Accurate with itineraries documentation and billing
- Sales aptitude: Able to match client needs with upsell opportunities without being pushy
