How youll contribute
ATransporter who excels in this role:
- Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from the Operating Room (OR) Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Outpatient Services.
- Assist in operating room turnover by cleaning between cases moving equipment and restocking supplies.
- Communicate effectively with surgical anesthesia and nursing staff to coordinate patient movement and room readiness.
- Follow strict infection control safety and hospital protocols during all transport and room turnover activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment storage areas and transport carts.
- Support team workflow by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests from OR staff.
- Observe and report any patient concerns equipment issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.

What were looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds and operate/move equipment and supplies safely.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range; ability to reach overhead sit stand or walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and support staff.
- Ability to remain calm prioritize tasks and perform effectively in fast-paced or stressful perioperative environments.
