POSITION SUMMARY

The Transportation Supervisor will oversee the daily logistics personnel and fleet operations of the Data Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating transportation operations throughout the data center campus including pick-ups/transfers between facilities.
Managing the data center drivers and driver schedules.
Planning routine maintenance and repairs on box trucks and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
Manage the fuel program.
Manage data center driver training.
Tracking in-bound/out-bound transit loads.
Enforcing safety regulations.
Resolving any logistical issues.

OTHER DUTIES (Site Specific)

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads develops and coaches team of 5-10 employees

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2 years experience in a leadership role involving logistics or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate

SKILLSKNOWLEDGEAND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
Proficiency in MS Office applications

Language Skills

English (reading writing verbal)

Other

Excellent communications skills.
General understanding of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics industry
