Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated team-building individual to fill a full-timeTransportationSupervisor2 positionat our Averill Warehouselocation in Flint.

$20/hourMonday-Friday 5:30 amto 2:00 pm

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Assists in the direction of work to meet pickup and delivery schedules.
• Assumes dock area responsibilities in the absence of supervisor.
• Assists in training and evaluation of dock personnel
• Responsible for housekeeping of dock area truck wells and removal of trash.
• Monitors trash compactor.
• Ability to drive a 53 ft semi or box truck when needed.
• Monitors metal salvage.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures maintaining a good attendance record.

Think youve got what it takes

• High school diploma/GED required
• Valid Michigan Commercial drivers license with the endorsements required to drive a 53ft semi and box truck along with aclean driving record and ability to pass a Clearinghouse License reference check.
• Logistics experience is preferred; management experience required
• Knowledge and experience with unions preferred
• Computer competencies including MS Word and Excel and a strong emphasis on safety are required.
• Show initiative good judgment and dependability
