About the PositionWe are seeking a Transportation Engineer I to join our growing Transportation team in our Peachtree Corners GA or Cobb County GA office. The ideal candidate possesses experience as a Transportation Intern. The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of civil engineering professionals while supporting a range of transportation design and planning Our TeamOur team of civil engineering professionals includes transportation design engineers traffic engineers and planners. Our transportation team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast and our existing client base includes state transportation agencies such as the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as well as various county and local municipalities. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and and Experience:Experience and Knowledge using GDOT PublicationsEIT certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 :BS in Civil Engineering0-2 years of experienceProficient with relevant software such as Microstation OpenRoads Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and of the practical application of engineering principles practices and techniques including AASHTO guidelines GDOT Publications such as Design Policy Manual GDOT EDG and GDOT PPGAbility to demonstrate strong attention to to work well within a team environment positive attitude multi-task and self-motivated to produce high quality and desire to learn and grow professionallyAt Pond we are a collaborative innovative team in an environment that fosters learning and professional growth.
