Transportation Driver

At Silver Key Senior Services our mission is to help older adults age safely and independently in their homes. As a Transportation Driver you will play a vital role in our community-ensuring clients get safely from their door to medical appointments grocery stores and essential services.

• Safely transport clients to and from medical and personal appointments
• Provide door-through-door service assisting clients courteously and safely
• Operate lift-equipped vehicles (wheelchair accessible; up to 14 passengers)
• Follow all traffic laws safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain assigned vehicles and report any issues
• Deliver excellent customer service with compassion and professionalism
• Support and interact positively with volunteers and team members
• Accurately follow schedules and route instructions using mobile technology

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Colorado Drivers License with a clean driving record
• Ability to meet insurability requirements and pass MVR checks
• Ability to pass background checks (including CAPS) and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility devices (up to 300 lbs with equipment)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient respectful approach to working with seniors

Preferred:

• Passenger transportation experience
• Experience working with older adults
• Basic computer/tablet skills
• Experience handling donations or cash

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
