Job Summary
- Works daily communicating with internal and external customers field representatives and vendors.
- Shop determine best carrier option and create shipping documents.
- Interacts with different departments to obtain dimensions weight ready to ship projections.
- Must be able to read and understand tape measure and weight calculations as related to cube measurement density and/or space used.
- Schedules and processes shipments.
- Reconciles and maintains carrier invoices for payables.
- Liaison to the shipping dock and hardware departments.
- Provide quotes and maintains quote log.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
- Must have excellent telephone skills with the ability to deal with potentially irate customers vendors and representatives in a professional manner
- Must have excellent written and oral skills
- Should be proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Strong sense of urgency and motivation self-starter
Travel
Minimum if any travel required
Hours
Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules instructions and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully an individual should be proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint software.
