Job Summary
TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
Boscovs Distribution Center is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to manage inbound freight. Youll track inbound shipments provide status updates and review transportation documents for accuracy and compliance while serving as a key contact for vendors buyers and carriers. This role involves heavy data entry and vendor communication in our Transportation Management System (TMS). This role includes additional responsibilities as required during periods of high volume and staffing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Track and coordinate inbound domestic shipments supporting vendors buyers and carriers
- Advise carriers and vendors on updating Boscovs TMS
- Operate and maintain the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Access Excel Word
- Experience with invoice / expense processing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Transportation and TMS (Transportation Management System) experience preferred
