Willys Transmissions and Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Transmission / Installation Technician to join our team.

This is an opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in doing quality work solving difficult problems and getting repairs right the first time.

PAY & OPPORTUNITY

$30.00$45.00 PER HOUR

Pay is based on experience and qualifications.

WHAT YOULL DO

As a Transmission / Installation Technician you will:

• Perform transmission removals installations and repairs
  
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
  
• Perform heavy line repairs and general automotive service
  
• Diagnose drivability and performance issues
  
• Use professional diagnostic equipment and scan tools
  
• Perform engine and diesel-related repairs as needed
  
• Follow manufacturer specifications and proper repair procedures
  
• Use hand tools specialty tools and shop equipment safely
  
• Inspect completed repairs and verify proper operation
  
• Maintain accurate repair orders service records and parts documentation
  
• Follow shop safety procedures and quality standards
  
• Work closely with other technicians and service personnel
  
• Help maintain a clean organized and professional shop environment
  

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

HEAVY LINE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4 years of automotive technician experience preferred
  
• 3 years of transmission experience preferred
  
• Strong transmission repair and installation experience
  
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  
• Experience diagnosing electrical systems and components
  
• Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment
  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical concerns
  
• Comfortable working with hand tools and specialty equipment
  
• Diesel repair experience is a plus
  
• Automotive electrical experience is a plus
  
• ASE Certification is a plus
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Reliable and dependable work habits
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
