Education:

• High school graduation or equivalency.

Experience:

• 1-2 years experience. Moderate previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.

Physical Demands:

• Work requires moderate physical exertion.

Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• Valid Arizona Class C Drivers License (with Passenger Endorsement) required upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and efficient vehicle operations for the purpose of transporting passengers. Assists passengers including seniors and disabled in boarding and exiting the vehicle as necessary. Secure mobility devices (wheelchairs walkers etc.) in the vehicle.
• Provide general information to the public regarding Dial-A-Ride services. Logs all stops on daily route manifest completes incident and accident reports daily vehicle inspection reports and reports vehicle malfunctions. Complete company forms maintain accurate trip data and use vehicle equipment such as onboard radio and computer system.
• Complete daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections interior cleaning and vehicle refueling.
• Collect and records pre-established transit fares.
