Description

The Transfer Relationship Manager is a highly skilled professional that provides customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process. This role will be responsible for developing relationships to build a pipeline with state colleges to recruit transfer students and manage email queues. Additionally they will assist in conducting dynamic presentations and effectively answer questions about admission and application requirements and processes. The position will report to the Admissions Team Administrator Transfer Relationship Management.



Responsibilities

Recruitment Management
Assist in developing a recruitment plan to implement and meet specific enrollment goals for transfer students. Manage an assigned recruitment territory by attending outreach activities in collaboration with state college representatives and community partners including occasional overnight travel. Participate in the development implementation and communication of the on-boarding process and completion of success steps for
prospective students.

Recruitment Support
Provide back up support to the Customer Success Reps by managing the front desk as needed to handle walk-in customer support and provide customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process. Assist in email queues provide occasional backup phone support to the call center manage outreach to students to help with document collection and completion.

Presentation Support
Attend state colleges and transfer admissions events to build relationships with prospective students applicants counselors and parents. Provide admissions guidance through information sessions presentations and meetings with students families and counselors through in-person and group settings and act as a point of contact. Coordinate and participate in outreach and access activities for the community and university partners
as needed. Adhere to the office-wide travel policies and standard operation procedures.

Data Analysis
Analyze data to determine marketing effectiveness and impact on applicant and enrollment objectives for targeted populations. Develops and utilizes various reports and dashboards to aid in decision making and support the recruitment team. Compile and analyze statistical data for routine periodic and ad hoc reports. Prepare regular recruitment activity reports statistical analyses and enrollment projections.

Communication and Collaboration
Build and maintain relationships with college counselors on behalf of USF. Collaborate with university faculty and staff departments and community partners to reach enrollment goals. Maintain effective communication and provide admissions guidance to students.

Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience -OR- equivalent
combination of education and experience.


Ability to partner and build strategic relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the fields policies procedures and practices.

SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an
alternative to the number of years of direct experience required not to exceed:
(a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelors degree;
(c) Six years of direct experience for a masters degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
(e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure certification or registration
required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the
advertised description of the position of employment.
Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
