Transfer Process Secondary Librarian (1.0 FTE) [Rose Hill Middle School]

Rose Hill Middle School (within theLWHS Learning Community) is looking for qualified Library Media Teacher candidates for the 2026 - 2027school year. This position is a 1.0 FTE administrators will contact you if you are selected for an interview.

Qualifications:Certification/License:WashingtonState teaching certificate with a Library Media endorsement.

Salary:Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.

EMPLOYEE-INITIATED TRANSFER/REASSIGNMENT: SECTION 23.4.1 - PROCEDURE
A. Vacancies will be posted on-line every Friday by 5pm beginning the first Friday in April and ending the third Friday in June.
B. Each week the vacancy posting will close the following Thursday.
C. Employees wishing to apply for any of the posted vacancies will submit their application to Human Resources prior to 9:00 pm on the day the posting closes.
D. Within seven (7) calendar days of closing of the posting Human Resources or the principal supervisor or program director will arrange for an interview between the principal/supervisor and the three most senior the case of choice schools and TOSA positions after the three most senior candidates have interviewed if there is no qualified candidate the posting may be transitioned to a posting for both internal and external candidates.
E. The District must select from the three most qualified applicants by District seniority to be interviewed for a posted vacancy. If only two qualified employees apply for the posted position then the two applicants will be interviewed. If only one qualified employee applies for a posted vacancy then they will be placed in the posted vacancy.
