    Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehiresup to$40.82 per hour.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    Required:

    • Bachelors Degree in a related field or any other combination of related education experience and training.
    • Current Colorado Drivers License.
    • ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
    • SNA Certification or Credentialing within 1 year of hire.
    • Meet current district vehicle insurance qualifications for driving coverage.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary/Objective:Functions as a working specialist providing employee support to ensure that Nutrition Services employees have the tools and resources necessary to be successful in their job roles. Performs operational activities including- employee onboarding and training; meal prep supervision and evaluation; implementation of USDA regulations; food waste prevention and reclamation efforts; and food and employee safety practices.

    Essential Functions:

    • Develop coordinate and deliver training and mentoring programs for Nutrition Services staff with emphasis on onboarding and supporting new employees.
    • Set individual employee goals and support continuous skill and performance improvement.
    • Plan support and help implement department-wide employee training sessions and engagement events.
    • Respond to and resolve day-to-day operational questions from kitchen staff.
    • Ensure compliance with USDA state local district and departmental regulations and procedures for child nutrition programs.
    • Oversee the management of food waste prevention and food reclamation programs to support school food pantries.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nutrition technology systems and support staff use of tools for ordering inventory production and meal claiming.
    • Provide operational support to improve consistency and efficiency in kitchen and program functions.
    • Collaborate closely with Area Supervisors Nutrition Resources Facilitator and Bilingual Training Assistant to strengthen staff support systems.
    • Use effective and professional communication skills when interacting with staff and community members.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience with large-scale food production.

    • Changes in temperature from freezing in the freezer to extreme heat from the ovens.
    • Changes in weather climates outside driving and inside warehouse.
    • Fluorescent lighting.
