Job Description Summary:

The primary responsibility of a Monarch Training Specialist role is to build an environment that stimulates learning and growth enabling learners initial and recurring to acquire new knowledge skills and competencies. Training at Monarch will include but is not limited to New Employee Orientation First Aid/CPR/AED and Safety Care/Getting it Right within our designated service area (West Central East). Trainer certification opportunities are a part of this position.

What Youll Do:

• Orienting new employees to Monarch during their onboarding week.

• Facilitate structured learning experiences and monitor results for continuous improvement.

• Identify additional training opportunities by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.

• Train both on-site and in online environments.

• Maintain records of training and development activities attendance certificates etc.

• Coordinate and secure training locations classroom handouts instructional materials aids and manuals.

• Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.

• Driving and travel will be required including periodic scheduled overnight trips/weekend training with advanced notice.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

• Administrative tasks as needed.
