Job Summary
Position Summary
The Training Manager is responsible for owning and governing the sites training system ensuring effectiveness compliance and alignment with operational goals. This role translates business needs into strategic training initiatives that support safety quality and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations HR Quality Safety and Continuous Improvement teams to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Develop and execute site training strategies aligned with enterprise programs and business needs.
- Lead and develop the Training Administrator and Operator III Trainers ensuring strong team capability and accountability.
- Oversee training programs including onboarding certification progression and leadership development.
- Drive performance against training KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness.
- Ensure all training systems documentation and records are audit-ready and compliant.
- Support a safe work environment and reinforce Rocklines RRITE values: Renew Respect Integrity Teamwork and Excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) plus 67 years of experience in training operations HR quality or compliance.
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of training systems compliance and governance in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training record management.
- Strong understanding of audit readiness and certification processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience delivering or supporting training in an operations environment.
Preferred:
- Masters degree
- Training certifications or leadership development credentials
- Lean or continuous improvement experience
Work Environment
- On-site role based in Russellville AR
- Combination of office and production floor work
- Up to 10% travel annually
