Role Overview
At Chick-fil-A DFW Airport being a Trainer is more than just a jobits an opportunity to lead by example develop others and help build a culture of excellence hospitality and continuous our fast-paced airport environment Trainers play a critical role in onboarding and developing new team members while ensuring operational standards guest service expectations and food quality requirements are consistently achieved.
This role includes both Front of House and Back of House training responsibilities depending on assignment. Trainers provide hands-on coaching reinforce Chick-fil-A standards and help team members build the skills and confidence needed to succeed. Through mentorship feedback and leadership Trainers help create exceptional guest experiences and support a high-performing restaurant team.
Key Responsibilities
Train and onboard new Front of House and Back of House team members
Demonstrate and reinforce Chick-fil-A service food quality and operational standards
Provide hands-on coaching and real-time feedback during shifts
Support team member development through observation instruction and encouragement
Maintain cleanliness organization and food safety standards throughout the restaurant
Assist with guest service and kitchen operations as needed
Ensure team members follow proper procedures recipes and safety guidelines
Monitor training progress and communicate development opportunities to leadership
Lead by example through professionalism accountability and a positive attitude
Support both Front of House and Back of House teams during high-volume periods
Uphold Chick-fil-A standards policies and appearance guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous Chick-fil-A restaurant customer service or food service experience preferred
Prior training coaching or leadership experience is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Strong communication teaching and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
Dependable adaptable and team-oriented
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
