As our Trailer Mechanic youll inspect diagnose repair and maintain commercial-grade trailers to keep our customers safely on the road.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect diagnose repair and maintain commercial trailers
- Repair roofs sidewalls flooring doors and structural components
- Repair and replace lighting and electrical wiring
- Perform brake suspension and wheel-end repairs
- Troubleshoot and repairing hydraulic systems
- Weld and fabricate trailer components
- Perform sheet metal repairs and fabrication
- Install rivets bolts and other fasteners
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work area
- Document completed repairs and inspections

Required Skills:
Previous trailer mechanic or heavy-duty mechanical experience required Welding and fabrication experience (MIG preferred) Experience with sheet metal repairs Hydraulic system knowledge Electrical wiring and lighting troubleshooting experience Brake and suspension repair experience Ability to safely operate shop equipment and power tools Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Valid drivers license required CDL is a plus but not required
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED
