The Opportunity
As a Traffic Management Centre (TMC) Operator youll be at the heart ofSouth Australias traffic operations helping ensure our roads remain safeefficient and reliable 24 hours a day.

In this fast-paced and rewarding role you will monitor advanced trafficcontrol and reporting systems enabling rapid responses to incidents andminimising disruptions for road users. Youll work closely with emergencyservices and operational teams to coordinate responses verify incidentinformation support asset requests and provide real-time traffic updates tomedia outlets and the public.

No two days are the same. Your decisions and actions will directlycontribute to safer journeys and smoother traffic flow across the states roadnetwork.

About you
Youare a calm and confident communicator who thrives in dynamic environments. Youcan manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy professionalism andattention to detail.

Educational Qualifications / Licences

• A current drivers licence is essential.

Special Conditions

• A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
• A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
• Some intra/interstate travel including overnight absences may be required.

Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointments fortwelve (12) months with potential extensions up to twelve (12) months x 2 (morethan one role)

Remuneration
ASO3 - $74095 to $78694 pa superannuation

24/7 Shift Work with loadings for Night/Afternoon and Weekend Shifts including Public Holidays extra 5 Weeks Annual Leave.
