Mission of the Position

The mission of theTrading&InvestmentOperationsAnalystisto support theInvestmentDepartmentinpriorityfunctionsincludingtrade executionreconciliationand model management;fund administration and cash management;and departmentaldataand project role is part ofa team that serves as theexecution andimplementationfunctionthat complementsand collaborates with theResearchand Investment Strategysideof the department.

This is a trading execution andoperations orientedrole where efficiency and expediencyisnecessaryand attention to detail is addition to error-free trade execution the successful candidate can take on larger longer-term projects and proactively drive them forward to is a highly visible role acrossthedepartment andthe organization.

Top Accountabilities

TheAnalystwillsupport the Head of Trading in:

TRADING

  • Dailytrade execution and reconciliationof equities and fixed incomesecurities andinvestmentliquidityoversight

  • Trading modeland look-through exposuremaintenance

  • Providing performanceupdatesof markets and investments

  • Develop andmaintainrelationships with custodians


FUND ADMINISTRATION

  • Oversee fund administrator and service provider relationships to Simon Quicksequity hedge fund and private equity fund of funds

  • Support inmonthlyprocess management particularly in monthly reconciliation and cash movements

  • Document and investormanagement


INVESTMENT OPERATIONS

  • Managedaily and monthly performance monitoring andrecording processes

  • Benchmark and Investment performance data entry

  • Support implementation of separately managed account strategies

  • Provide research support forpassive index-based funds and fund families

  • Assistin departmental projectsand tasks including Investment Committee and Strategy meetings

Key Criteria/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree

  • 1-4years of relevant experienceintrading or fund administration

  • Exceptionally strongattention to detail and ability to adhereto andimprove processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

  • Strong interest in financial markets economics and the investment industry.

  • Strong organizational time management and written/oral communication skills.

  • Process-driven and proactive with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Bloomberg Orion/Eclipse Pitchbook YCharts

  • AI and LLMproficiencyandproactivityto develop and apply AI automation to help scale responsibilities

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer.

  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
