Torch Technologies is seeking an intermediate level Tracking Filtering EO/IR Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will have experience/expertise with electro-optical and infrared data analysis (EO/IR) image processing and uncertainty analysis. The Data Analyst will be responsible for the analysis interpretation and algorithm development to support data reduction from customer test events. A well-suited candidate will be self-motivated with demonstrated communication skills (oral and written) and capable of working both in a small team and unsupervised.

As an EO/IR Data Analyst your duties will include the following but are not limited to:

• Analyze EO/IR sensor data including target detection tracking filtering and signature analysis.

• Perform sensor data fusion and uncertainty analysis.

• Support multi-spectral sensor calibration and characterization.

• Analyze algorithms and their interaction to improve performance.

• Interpret data identifying trends and analyze results using statistical techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship

• Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science Electrical Engineering Physics or similar) or equivalent experience AND 5 years of experience in EO/IR data analysis image processing and statistical analysis. OR

• Masters degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science Electrical Engineering Physics or similar) or equivalent experience AND 3 years of experience in EO/IR data analysis image processing and statistical analysis.

• Active Secret Clearance with ability to maintain

• Experience with data processing software and tools (e.g. MATLAB Python R Java or other relevant tools).

• Strong analytical computational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Schedule:M-F; 8-5
