Job Summary

The Tour Guide brings the history legends and natural beauty of Rock City Gardens to life through engaging and memorable guest experiences. This role leads guided tours shares stories about Rock Citys unique attractions and helps guests make the most of their visit while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

• Lead guided tours for guests school groups and special events.
• Share stories and information about Rock City Gardens history legends attractions and scenic views.
• Create engaging interactive experiences for guests of all ages.
• Answer questions and provide directions recommendations and assistance throughout the tour.
• Help maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
• Assist with special events and guest activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For

• Experience in hospitality tourism education customer service or other guest-facing roles preferred.
• Friendly outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking to small groups.
• Ability to learn and share information in an engaging way.
• Professional guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including weekends holidays and special events.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
