In this critical highly visible role you will manage projects involving the design integration and launch of cutting-edge touch u0026 sensor technologies for the world-renowned Apple product portfolio. You will play a key part in providing Apple customers with the best user-experience in the industry by driving the development and deployment of next-generation touch and sensing Touch u0026 Sensing Technology team features a collaborative environment with creative smart people and cutting edge technologies. Lead and drive alignment and communications between multi-functional teams including Electrical Mechanical Process Test Reliability Software and Firmware Engineering to deliver state-of-the-art sensing solutionsnOwn program plans schedules budget and execution from feature definition through product release scoping task difficulty prioritizing risk on high-risk/new-technology projects and adapting plans as challenges emergenManage program execution directly with internal and external partnersnDeliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making processnEnsure tight inter-team coordination and communicationnDrive engineering design by leading failure analysis activities performance validation requirements and testing and design release cadence for electrical and mechanical componentsnIdentify and resolve conflicts inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficientlynImprove the system: look for patterns offer best practices and implement change

BS in STEM field (e.g. EE ME Physics etc.) and 3 years relevant experiencenTechnical background (e.g. hardware development) with preferences for knowledge of sensor technologiesnCuriosity about and familiarity with AI toolswith interest to apply them to improve engineering and program workflowsnAbility and willingness to travel internationally (typically once per year; accommodations available as needed)

Experience leading multi-functional teams including Electrical Algorithms Process and Test Engineering to deliver pioneering sensing solutionsnAdvanced engineering degreenExcellent communication organizational and leadership skillsnConfident in delivering technical data with ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audiencenProven ability to fit in well with a team understand others capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment and inspire team membersnUnderstands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertaintynSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
