Compensation: $24.00/hour
The incumbent will regularly perform the following tasks:
- Adhere to Tool Room schedule and report to the tool room supervisor
- Run Wire EDM Machines including job and workpiece setup
- Run CNC machines including job and workpiece setup
- Log work and hours performed
- Maintain EDM and CNC machines to ensure good working order
- Basic machining (e.g. surface grinding lathe work)
- Ability to read technical prints including understanding of GD&T
- Metrology
- Maintain and verify Tool Crib Inventory
- Place purchase requisitions for the tool room
- Heat treatment of tool steels
- Follow safety regulations and requirements
- Basic housekeeping
- Support the tool room
Less frequently the incumbent will perform other duties as required that may include:
Calling vendors for support on machines
