Job Summary

Summary

Position Summary:Responsible for training physicians and nurses in the care of children with asthma including spirometry.

Essential Duties

  • Develop the curriculum for and recording of a lecture on the topics of asthma medication adherence and inhaled medication device technique to be added to the enduring resources of the Asthma Toolkit program
  • Partner with the Asthma Toolkit team to revise and improve the program following each training event
  • Deliver training in evidence-based guidelines for the care of children with asthma to health care providers at remote primary care clinic sites identified as part of the project activities.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
  • Work Experience: 10 years of experience with education spirometry and medication adherence including teaching physicians and nurses.
  • Special Training Certification or Licensure: None

Salary Range: $55.00 - $70.00

Benefits: This is a PRN position that is not eligible for benefits.
