Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by Tool Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all tool room activities including mold maintenance repair troubleshooting preventive maintenance and tooling projects supporting medical device manufacturing. This role provides technical leadership to tool room personnel while ensuring tooling reliability quality safety and on-time support of production operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong mold making and machining experience who can balance daily production support with continuous improvement initiatives and future tooling capability developmentRESPONSIBILITIESLead troubleshooting repair and maintenance of injection molds fixtures EOAT and production preventive maintenance activities to maximize tooling uptime and root cause investigations related to tooling quality and production tooling records PM schedules and repair & CoordinationSupervise daily activities of Tool Room work requests to support production validation and customer with Engineering Maintenance Production Quality and EHS technical training and mentorship to toolmakers and & FabricationOperate and oversee CNC mills EDM equipment surface grinders lathes and manual machining and modify mold components fixtures and tooling as and interpret engineering drawings CAD models and technical ImprovementDrive tooling reliability improvements and cost reduction implementation of tooling asset management in capital equipment and tooling development opportunities to expand internal tooling capabilities and reduce external vendor & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all safety policies and clean organized and efficient tool room 6S and continuous improvement PREFERREDHigh school diploma or Toolmaker certification or equivalent experience.10 years of injection mold tooling experience with mold repair troubleshooting and to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD with CNC machining EDM grinding and precision measurement leadership communication and organizational QualificationsSupervisory or team leadership device manufacturing with hot runner systems and automation experience (SolidWorks preferred).Experience with tooling asset management Requirements:Ability to lift to 50 to stand bend climb and work around manufacturing to safely handle mold components and tooling equipment.
