VAL-CO is a leader in commercial poultry egg and swine production equipment specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems is currently looking for Full-Time Tool Room Apprentice in the Coldwater Ohio facility. Scheduled workdays are Monday thru Friday 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm

* Pay range $24.40-$30.50
*Responsibilities Include:
- Properly set-up and operate tool room machinery including CNC machines without assistance or unnecessary supervision
- Produce and assemble quality work pieces from drawings or blueprints to tolerances up to -.0005 without assistance or unnecessary supervision and in a timely manner.
- Assemble dies jigs and fixtures as per print with minimal supervision
- Maintain clean orderly work area and follow all safety rules
- Safely position secure or move work pieces as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on tool room machines
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years machining experience or approved schooling
- Good understanding of tool steel properties and heat treating characteristics
- Sufficient in blueprint and CAD drawings
- Provide own machinist tools and be proficient in using them.
- Must pass company machinist math test
- Possess a quality and safety conscious attitude and ability to follow step by step instructions from supervisor
- Ability to weld a plus
