Caterpillars Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine Petroleum Industrial Applications Electric Generators and Locomotives. Job Summary:

As aTool Crib Attendantyou willbe responsible formanaging and distributing tools equipment and supplies essential formaintainingand repairing machinery as well as supporting production us in shaping the future of diesel engine machining while enjoying competitive benefits and endless opportunities for growth. What you will do:

• Provide exceptional customer service byassistingall maintenance and other team members with locating parts
• Disburse all parts removed/signed out from crib usingCaterpillar tool crib software and tools
• Ship out parts to be repaired by outside vendors
• Put away all parts in the return parts area
• Signand verify all paperworkfor parts delivered from receiving
• Sort all deliveries handing offpurchase ordersto the recipient oranalyst team
• Receive allworkordered parts into theapproved system
• Put away all incoming parts
• Utilize FIFO for all perishable items (chemicals & etc.) perrequired policies and software
• Relocate parts into cabinets vertical storage and racks as needed
• Contact analystteamfor shortages overages or missing items on orders
• Completeweeklycyclecountsandturnpaperworktoanalyst team
• Complete daily 5S workplace approved organization method for toolcrib and desks by end of shift
• Perform any other assigned duties

What you will have:

• Minimum of 2 months experience in a machining manufacturing or warehouseenvironmentor industry certification
• Abilityto work well with others
• Ability to read write and interpret documents in English
• Generalknowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel Word and/orPowerPoint
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures

• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable
• Previousexperience reading and interpreting part prints and/or schematics
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Excel and other Tool Crib Software
• Previousexperience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive operations
• Ability tolift upto 35 lbs.

Additional Information:

• 2ndShift will receive a 7% shift premium
• Schedule:Monday- Friday2:30pm-11:00pm. Overtime asrequired.
• Initial training will be on 1st shift from 6:00AM-2:30PM.
