Responsibilities
  • Organize inspect and prepare raw materials and purchased components to support efficient tool builds and production activities.
  • Assemble troubleshoot modify and repair a variety of tooling and production equipment.
  • Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools to manufacture and maintain components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tooling fixtures and specialized equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel to meet quality delivery and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate project requirements and provide guidance to support personnel as needed.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain a professional team-oriented work environment through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Follow all company safety policies procedures and training requirements.
  • Participate in quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to tooling maintenance and production activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience in tool and die making tooling repair precision machining or a related manufacturing discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience operating toolroom equipment and precision measuring instruments.
  • Commitment to workplace safety quality standards and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
