JOB TITLE: Tommie Mascot

LOCATION: St. Paul Campus (potential to travel)

HOURS: 4 Hours a week (dependent on number of events each week/weekend)
PAY: $17/hr

JOB SUMMARY:

The Tommie Mascot position will work close with the St. Thomas Spirit Squad teams to cheer on the Tommies at athletic events on-campus events and in the St. Thomas community. Students will get training to be a mascot performer and help promote the Tommie brand. This position is for the 2026-27 academic school year.

POTENTIAL TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES:

• Summit League Basketball Championships (March)
• NCAA Post-Season Tournaments
• UCA Camp in Wisconsin Dells (August)

• Attend monthly meetings
• Attend community events
• Can commit to working a minimum of 4 or more hours a week (please keep in mind that this changes based on sport seasons & appearance demands.)
• Available to work nights and weekends
• Height Requirement of 58 - 62
  • The suit is made to accommodate certain sizes of bodies. Potential squad members must meet the height requirement listed above.
  • If you do not fall within the height range but are close still apply as we can see if we can fit you in.
• Must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at St. Thomas

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for student employment St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate graduate and doctoral levels.
