Employment Coordinator - Tennessee

Charles Lea Center is looking to hire a full time Employment Coordinator primarily working in middle Tennessee.

Competitive Pay of $22.12/hr.

Need Flexibility

Primarily Monday-Friday with occasional weekends. Employees may choose start and end times within a set range provided core values and hours are met.

As an Employment Coordinator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Developing career advancement opportunities for individuals supported through the Charles Lea Center and the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging (DDA).
• Identifying and securing community-based employment opportunities by matching individuals skills abilities and interests with appropriate job placements.
• Coordinating initiating and managing referrals and employment services to support individuals in achieving their employment goals.
• Building partnerships and outreach opportunities within the community to enhance employment skills training and promote competitive integrated employment outcomes that align with each individuals goals and aspirations.
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals throughout the employment process to encourage job retention career growth and successful outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be able to effectively read write and communicate verbally in English

• Ability to pass a background check upon hire

• Valid drivers license
• Vehicle Insurance of a specific coverage amount

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

• This role involves regular standing walking lifting (up to 50 lbs) and hands-on support. Reasonable accommodations are available.

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field;

or

A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a non-related field and one year of *relevant experience;

or

Associate degree and 2 years of *relevant experience;

or

High School Diploma or General Equivalent with 4 years of *relevant experience

*Relevant experience means experience working directly with persons with intellectual developmental or other types of disabilities or mental illness.
