Job Summary

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club located in Lehigh Acres FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Tiki Bar Supervisor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. General Purpose:

Provides efficient serviceofour guests with superior professionalism and courtesy. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.Assiststhe department manager with trainingdevelopmentand implementing customer service standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Ensures staffisworking together as a team to ensureoptimumservice and that guest needs are met.
  • Inspects grooming and attire ofstaff andrectifies scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability service safety andwell beingof guests.
  • Ensures guests areattended toin a promptefficientand personalized manner.
  • Acts as a liaison betweenfrontofhouseand the kitchen staff to ensuretimelyandappropriate communications.
  • Ensures that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept cleanwell stockedand organized. Checks the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant and notifies theFood & BeverageManager of needed maintenance and repair.
  • Assures all opening and closing procedures and side work is completed including all cleaning of equipment and storage areassetting up necessary supplies and tools un/locking doors inspecting storage areas for organization use of FIFO and cleanliness etc.
  • Assistsin coordinating special functions with the Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Assists Food & Beverage Manager in performing andmaintainingfood and beverage inventory.
  • Assistswith conducting pre-shift meetings to review specials menu changes house counts etc.
  • Assistsin the completion of revenue reports productionreportsand other reports as needed.
  • Performs daily activities toinclude:serving tables bussing tables seating guests roomserviceand general clerical/cashier duties.
  • Assiststhe department manager in interviewing training planning assigning and directing work. Make recommendations when hiring evaluating performance rewarding and disciplining associates.
  • Develops andmaintainspositive working relationships with others supports the team to reach common goals and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensures adherence to quality expectations andstandards;andidentifies recommends develops and implements new ways to increase organizational efficiency productivity quality safety and/or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Assistsin the coordination of department members that may include but is not limited to: Hosts Servers Expediters and Cashiers.
  • Assistsin monitoring business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas ofmanpower productivitycostsand other expenses.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties asrequired.

MinimumRequirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2 years Lead Server experience preferred
  • Proven exemplary customer service skills
  • 2 years experiencewith arestaurant POS software platform
  • 1 years experience at current Club or another Troon property

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands walks talks and useshands reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits climbs balances stoops kneels crawls crouchestasteor smells. Frequentlylifts upto 25 pounds and occasionallylifts upto 50pounds.e:

Occasionally works in extreme heat wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Occasionally works in outdoor weather is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafeCertified (Food Manager & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge Skill and Ability Preferences:

  • Ability to read and speak English may berequiredin order toperform the duties of the job ( associates maybe requiredto communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
  • Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
  • Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including foods beverages supervisory aspects servicetechniquesand guest interaction.
  • Working knowledge ofPOSsystem.
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety.
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellentpeopleskills with a friendly attitude.
  • Responsible and trustworthy.
