This is an opportunity to provide meaningful trauma-informed treatment to children and adolescents with significant behavioral health needs while working alongside an experienced team of psychiatrists nurses behavioral staff educators and clinical you are passionate about helping youth build healthier futures and enjoy working in a collaborative mission-driven environment wed love to meet Youll DoAs a Licensed Therapist youll serve as a primary clinician for youth receiving residential psychiatric treatment by:Conducting comprehensive clinical assessmentsDeveloping and updating individualized treatment plansProviding individual group and family therapyServing as the primary clinical contact for parents and guardians throughout treatmentCollaborating with psychiatrists nursing education case management and direct care staff to coordinate careParticipating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsSupporting crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization effortsCoordinating discharge planning and continuity of careCompleting timely accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health recordEnsuring compliance with Medicaid South Carolina regulations and organizational standardsWhat Were Looking ForRequired QualificationsMasters degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or a related behavioral health fieldActive South Carolina professional license such as:LPCLMSWLISWLMFTOr equivalent clinical license eligible to practice in a PRTFExperience providing therapy to children adolescents or individuals with behavioral health needsStrong assessment treatment planning and documentation skillsCommitment to trauma-informed person-centered carePreferred QualificationsTwo or more years of experience in residential treatment inpatient behavioral health psychiatric or child and adolescent settingsExperience with crisis intervention and complex behavioral health presentationsFamiliarity with Medicaid documentation requirements and electronic health recordsWhy Join BroadstepAt Broadstep youll be part of a team that believes every child deserves the opportunity to heal grow and succeed.
