JOB SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360 a family of programs is located across 13 different counties in California. HealthRIGHT 360 provides an array of medical and behavioral health services to some of the most marginalized populations ranging from primary care mental health services detox substance use disorder treatment in both residential and outpatient settings and transitional services for the criminal justice Womens HOPE residential program offers specialized care to the underserved female population of San Francisco including low-income African American and Latina women and their families/children with a special focus on pregnant and parenting women with co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. The program is gender-responsive and trauma informed addressing substance use trauma mental illness health and wellness family reunification parenting education employability homelessness and sober living skills. The team of providers at Womens HOPE includes parenting counselors therapists and SUD counselors who provide wrap around services to support and empower our participants as they reach their Therapist I registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) provides comprehensive therapeutic services including individual couples and family therapy. Their role involves conducting clinical assessments diagnoses treatment planning interventions crisis management and discharge planning. They facilitate psychoeducation groups covering core curricula and collaborate with care management staff to help clients secure entitlement benefits housing and medical services in the community. Working across diverse settings such as outpatient offices residential treatment facilities and in the field the Therapist I ensures service delivery aligns with HealthRIGHT 360s mission vision and RESPONSIBILITIESIndividual Treatment Responsibilities: Manages an individual therapy weekly individual therapy to clients in residential treatment and to their partners and families when clinically confidentiality while working as part of a treatment team and adhering with program in case conferences treatment planning and clinical discussions to provide holistic with prescribing psychiatrists regarding psychotropic medication compliance side effects follow up Setting Responsibilities:Facilitates psycho-education groups on a variety of core curriculum topics including Seeking Safety DBT discharge planning with clients Care consultation to staff regarding symptom management mental health conditions and crisis intervention in agency training as training staff meetings and clinical activities as and presents programs for clinical days. Provides psychological profiles of clients prior to program children for counseling as needed. Provides in-service training and education for counseling for consultation on individual and Compliance Responsibilities: In accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external demands of evaluating agencies maintains accurate documentation on all accurate records of all clients and gathers data for monthly action on items in logs perform other duties as Certification and Experience Masters degree in psychology Counseling Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited graduate (AMSW AMFT APCC) from a regionally accredited graduate school and registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).First Aid and CPR Certified within 30 days of experience in dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment in an inpatient or outpatient community mental health setting experience in mental health or psychiatric setting with varied clinical paperwork and record keeping with trauma informed therapy models cognitivebehavioral therapy briefpsychotherapy and psycho-educational with working with psychotic and other severe mental health to work as part of an interdisciplinary experience in performing risk assessment and crisis In-depth knowledge of all aspects of working in a mother and child residential treatment of family reunification knowledge such as mental health issues trauma life skills anger management criminal behavior crisis competent and able to work with a diverse proficiency with Microsoft Office applications specifically Word Outlook and internet applications.
