Principal Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Detroit MI

Responsibilities

Development will be done using Model-Based Development (MBD) with MATLAB/Simulink
Understanding of AUTOSAR and C is important but not mandatory
Strong production experience in BMS algorithm development is essential including:
State of Charge (SoC) estimation
Contactor control
Diagnostics and fault handling
Must have a solid background in working with high-voltage (HV) battery systems
Hands-on experience in developing battery control software is required.
