The Core Engineering-L2-Dallas-Vice President-Software Engineering

Functional Overview:

As a Vice President Software Engineer within Controllers Engineering you will lead mentor and scale a high performing team of 10 engineers. Controllers Engineering is responsible for designing and implementing solutions to manage firms profit and loss (P&L) measure and monitor the firms capital balance sheet and liquidity metrics and regulatory obligations. Our global agile teams (based across Americas EMEA & Asia) develop and manage the platforms calculation engines and analytical tools that controllers risk management and deal-making teams use to project monitor and report externally to regulators for both regular business activity and under stress scenarios.

Data Reconciliation Platform is a firmwide data consistency and control platform that reconciles normalizes and governs highvolume datamatching records across sources flagging discrepancies and tracking their resolution via intelligent policydriven workflowsto ensure accuracy compliance and trusted business operations. It is being modernized into AI-powered fully cloud-native reconciliation platform will autonomously match validate assign and explain exceptions across all businessesdelivering real-time accuracy auditability and insight at scale.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Tool & Technologies we use: AWS solutions AI platforms Java Python RESTful services Maven/Gradle Apache Spark BigData ReactJs/NextJs IntelliJ/VSCode Gitlab Kubernates/Terraform.
• 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring more junior engineers
• Cloud migration experience leading complex transformations for legacy systems
• Familiarity with LLMs AI-powered automations prompt engineering concepts.
• Develop high level/detailed technical designs testing strategies and implementation plans
• Work in a dynamic fast-paced environment that provides exposure to all areas of Finance
• Understand and respond to business needs facilitating and developing process workflow data requirements and specifications required to support implementation
• Build strong relationships with business partners
• Identify opportunities for cross-divisional collaboration and reuse of common solutions
