TFT Panel Design Engineer

Here youll do more than join something youll add is looking for a world-class Thin Film Transistor (TFT) panel design engineer to design develop and launch the next display technologies for the displays in Apple products. The TFT panel design team is responsible for delivering the advanced TFT panel designs and technologies to enable the worlds best display performance in Apple Products. Individual will serve as a focal point in architecting and developing the total TFT pixel and panel designs. This includes display panel modeling simulation integrated circuit-on-glass design panel architecture and whole panel function simulation.

TFT panel architecture scoping and definitionnnTFT device design modeling simulation and characteristics measurementnnPixel and panel design layout and parasitic parameter extractionnnTFT Pixel and panel modeling characterization and validationnnOn-glass integrated circuit design simulation and validationnnFailure mode analysis root cause investigation and problem solvingnnNew TFT technologies exploration investigation and validationnnInternational business travel to support project implementationnnEngage and collaborate with cross-functional teams including TFT process DisplaynnOptics Touch EE Display EE and Mechanical Engineering Display touchnnCollaborate with external vendors for display manufacturing

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and minimum of 3 years of relevant industry -on experience in-depth technical knowledge and proven track record in the design and development for display (OLED LCD) or related to perform circuit layout parasitic RC extraction circuit modeling and SPICE simulationnnUnderstanding the basic TFT and panel process

Ph.D. degree or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field plus 3 years of TFT or related industry experiencennExperience in display touchnnExperience in measuring and characterizing IV and CV of TFT devicesnnExperience in developing designing and manufacturing high volume displaynnExperience in characterizing panel optical and electrical performancennExperience in gate column driver IC and other display electronics designsnnExcellent written and verbal communication skills are required
