Job Summary

Tester Operator: Operates tests and monitors assigned equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of products.

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:40PM Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $15.66

Responsibilities

  • Perform various tests analyze results and identify any defects or issues.
  • Observes and conducts operation of equipment and documents maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoots control panels error lights and messages to ensure proper equipment function.
  • Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
  • Verifies equipment data for reporting.
  • Ability to interpret follow and execute testing procedures accurately.
  • May communicate with equipment technicians relating to more-complex issues.
  • Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.
  • Data entry to CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
  • Maintain and clean organized workstation.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • All other duties assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on capability to troubleshoot technical problems as necessary.
  • Ability to gather document and input data.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer ability.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution manufacturing technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Warehouse environment
  • The ability to lift push and/or pull up to 50 lbs. if necessary
  • The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time if necessary
  • The ability to bend push pull twist and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity if necessary.
