Job Summary:

This position is for a Principal Systems Engineer with at least 8 years of professional engineering you enjoy working and leading hands-on multidiscipline teams the Test Solutions Engineering Center (TSEC) is interested in hearing from you. The TSEC organization within RTX drives business success by providing a variety of critical engineering services across product lines and Solutions (TS) products are in engineering labs in the field and in factories and production testing environments utilized for testing weapon system products. TS has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle including demonstrations early engineering tests design verification tests production and post-production sustainment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position as Principal Integrated Product Manager located onsite in Huntsville AL. This position requires leading a team of multi-discipline engineers providing schedule and technical and execution oversight and managing multiple projects for a program. If you enjoy project management creating the execution schedule for your project understanding and owning the financial and Earned Value elements of running a tea partnering with other functional organizations and establishing strong relationships with the program office and customer this is the job for you!You will be responsible for driving to completion multiple stages of test product engineering development and will be responsible for maintaining the cost schedule and technical aspects of your assigned projects.

This position will be supporting SM3 SM3 Block IBmissile uses a kinetic kill vehicle designed to destroy short- to intermediaterange ballistic missiles using the hittokill technique where the interceptors kinetic energy destroys the target without an explosive warhead.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Program management.
Experience with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development integration verification validation and maintenance activities within production manufacturing product qualification environments.
Experience with program management tools such as EVMS Integrated Master Plan (IMP) Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Risk and Opportunity Management.
Experience with budget schedule Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and financial performance report generation with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering programs.
Experience with Budget Change Request (BCR) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation for Test Systems Engineering programs.
Experience in managing teams

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
EVMS certification Program Management certification or equivalent to Raytheon PM Level 6 certification
Demonstrate IPTL experience showing the ability to collaborate with program office cross-functional teams and internal/external customers.
Strong influential communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present analytic and performance results from program to functional leadership.
Experience in small/medium program execution
Demonstrate understanding of engineering development transition to production production and maintenance.
Experience with proposal capture and contract processes from receipt of RFP preparing Basis of Estimates proposal submittal preparing Statements of Work contract startup and contract close-out.
Experience with all the functionalities of Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT).
Agile Methodologies understanding.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects programs or systems in order to provide enhancements within job area.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
