JOB SUMMARY:

Under supervision works closely with Campus personnel to support student services. Assists in the preparation of the testing room checks identification before testing and seats examinees for testing monitors students during test sessions to ensure a secure testing environment and assists in the distribution and collection of test material.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Prepares the testing room and monitoring students during test sessions to ensure a secure testing environment. (50%)
  • Schedules clients for the CASAS/TABE Assessment and facilitation appointments. (20%)
  • Contacts students for test scheduling. (10%)
  • Assists in maintaining department files and records following confidential information policies. (10%)
  • Inputs student applications CASAS/TABE Scores Student Data Summary Forms and special designators into the Colleges registration system. (5%)
  • Completes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Associates degree. preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of related work experience preferred
  • Customer service experience (preferred).
  • Computer Literate- computer keyboardingskills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires an ability to sit stand walk bend lift reach up stoop and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as copier fax calculator telephone and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
