Territory Manager

Join Ecolabs industry leading Textile Care team as aCommercial Laundry - Territory Manager in the Kansas Territory. You will make a positive impact on our commercial laundry customers as you provide expert consultation and solutions that improve linen quality boost operating efficiencies and enhance sustainability. As a Territory Manager you will serve as the face of Ecolab for your customers ranging from independent laundry operations to corporate accounts including commercial uniform retail food & beverage and hospitality/tourism industries.

What You Will Do:

• Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers
• Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolabs innovative laundry products and chemicals processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies
• Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales
• Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training
• Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems

Position Details:

• This position is based in Topeka KS Wichita KS and Springfield MI
• Territory covers a 250-mile radius
• Approx 25% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Ability to travel regularly with 25% overnight travel required
• Flexibility to work emergency calls at night on weekends and over holidays
• Valid drivers license & acceptable MVR
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational/Technical or bachelors degree
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships influence customers and build trust
• Previous chemical sales experience commercial laundry industry/operations or plant management experience
• 2 years relevant work or military experience
• 1 year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience (i.e. plumbing electrical HVAC or mechanical trouble shooting experience)
