Description

Invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chemistry. We seek candidates with expertise in Biochemistry Chemical biology or a closely related field who is committed to excellence in teaching research mentorship and service. The successful candidate will be expected to :

1) teach undergraduate and graduate chemistry and science courses; 2) establish a nationally recognized research program; 3) mentor and guide undergraduate and Masters students in innovative research projects within our new state-of-the-art research facility; and 4) collaborate effectively within the division college and university and 5) contribute to the division college and university through service.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry Biochemistry or a closely related discipline postdoctoral research experience is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching expertise and research interests in biochemistry biological chemistry or related areas
