Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated skill and experience in obtaining patient vital signs including temperature blood pressure pulse height and weight Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff faculty students external organizations and the general public Laboratory and phlebotomy skills Strong interpersonal and human relations skills with a diverse range of individuals including students Proficiency with electronic health record systems preferred High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Certified Medical Assistant ( CMA ) or EMT program Current Certified Medical Assistant ( CMA ) and/or EMT certification required Current CPR certification required
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience of one year or greater in an outpatient setting preferred
