    Position Information:
    Temporary IT Support Technicians are needed to assist the technology support team in providing technical PC and Chromebook hardware software and basic networking support to our students and available are variable based on designated projects and are subject to change. Generally staff in these positions work within the hours of 8AM and 4PM Monday thru Friday though there is some potential for schedule flexibility. As project based hourly work there is not a guarantee of hours in between projects. Work must be provided onsite and in person and if hired must maintain physical presence at assigned location(s).

    Assignment:This role involves various shift times and operates on an on-call basis depending on need. Work hours including start and end times are subject to change based on district needs. Please note that this employment is hourly and at-will and there is no guaranteed minimum of hours or days per week.
    FLSA Status:Non-Exempt
    Hourly Rate: $23.50 per hour

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years old.
    • Required to travel to and from various District sites and residence within the Edmonds School District and surrounding areas to provide technical support.
    • Required to use your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
    • Physical ability to bend stoop twist and work in and around tight spaces and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
    • Ability to diagnose and solve basic technology issues.

    Benefits:
    This position is not anticipated to qualify for benefits because it is a seasonal/guest role that does not meet the threshold of 630 hours worked during the school year or the requirements of a continuing position. Please see below for more information:
