The Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices reconciling vendor accounts and ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers. This role requires strong communication skills the ability to work independently and a commitment to accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a 5-month fixed-term hybrid role based out of our El Segundo CA office.

WHAT YOU DO:

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure invoices are coded correctly and approved in line with company policy.
• Own key finance systemsfor AP processing(Ramp NetSuite).
• Reconcile vendor statements research and resolve discrepancies.
• Process ACH paymentsbank (wire)transfersand manual check printing.
• Perform month end close processesreportingand account reconciliations.
• Set up new vendors negotiate paymenttermsand respond tovendorsinquiries.
• Maintain files and documentationretainrecordsin accordance withcompany policy.
• Work closely with management on newprocessand procedure integrations and implementations.
• Manage daily cash entries and reconcile bank statements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable OR accounting degree.
• Familiarity with 3-way matching and purchase order-based AP.
• Proficiencyin finance systems such asRamp NetSuite and Concur preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and compliance requirements related to accounts payable and finance operations.
• Must be able to work from Carson CAOffice at least 60% of the time.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hour. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience skills education geographic location and budget.
