Job Summary

  • Patient Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs telemetry and critical metrics.
  • Assessment & Intervention: Perform regular assessments recognize subtle changes in patient conditions and initiate necessary interventions or life-saving measures.
  • Medication Management: Administer complex medications IV therapies and titrate drips as ordered.
  • Specialized Care: Care for patients recovering from surgery cardiac events or those with complex conditions (e.g. vent patients stroke patients requiring neuro checks).
  • Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams (physicians therapists) to develop and implement care plans.
  • Education: Educate patients and families on diseases treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses.

    • Requirement description :
    • 2 years RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience - REQUIRED
    • Telemetry monitoring experience - REQUIRED
    • Cerner experience - REQUIRED

    CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
    • BLS (AHA)
    • ACLS (AHA)

    STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
    • Michigan

    ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Must be active at time of submission
    Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend
    On Call Requirements : None
