As an Altana FCU Teller youll be the welcoming face of our credit unionbuilding meaningful connections with members while supporting their financial wellbeing. Youll process daytoday transactions like deposits withdrawals loan payments and check cashing all while delivering friendly solutionfocused service.

Behind the scenes youll help keep our operations running smoothly by balancing the ATM processing night drop and mail scanning documents and managing coin bags. Every task you complete directly contributes to an empowering seamless experience for our members.

Primary Responsibilities

• Member Transactions & Service 80%
  Deliver compassionate accurate and efficient service for deposits withdrawals payments and inquirieshelping members feel supported and valued.
• Processing Night Drop & Mail 10%
  Ensure timely and secure handling of member submissions.
• Balancing ATM 5%
  Maintain a well-functioning ATM that members can count on.
• Scanning Coin Handling & Other Tasks 5%
  Support daily branch operations with attention to detail.

• Stay informed about credit union products policies and regulations so you can exhibit expertise to members with accurate information.
• Follow all security privacy and compliance guidelines to protect our members and our team.
• Bring professionalism positivity and respect to every interactionwhether with members coworkers or vendors.
• Participate in team meetings and required training contributing to a revolutionary continuously improving workplace.
• Be punctual prepared and dependableyour team and our members count on you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to 12 months of teller or cash-handling experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of banking operations.
• Strong analytical skills to help resolve member concerns with care.
• Ability to use office equipment like computers phones and copiers.
• Clear and professional communication skills in person and in writing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a synergistic team-centered environment.
