MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital environment.
OR
An earned associates degree from an accredited
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in supporting computer systems related to digital environment.
AND
Proficiency required in the following:
Basic hardware and software troubleshooting
Knowledge of Windows Mac and iOS operating systems
Installing and maintaining software applications
Managing and maintaining computer network systems including Virtual and Local Area Networks
Supporting enterprise applications used in word processing spreadsheets databases presentations and electronic mail cloud storage and other related applications.
Effective communication
Computer skills as required for the position

Bilingual skills.
JOB PROGRESSION LADDER:
The Technology Support Specialist I & II jobs are designated as one job for the purpose of job progression when the employee has achieved an evaluation indicating that his/her job performance has met or exceeded the expectations of the job. The Technology Support Specialist I shall be promoted to Technology Support Specialist II after two (2) years of experience in the department/school.
SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency contact purpose
Collaborates with customers at the assigned location and with district level technology support staff to ensure an effective stable and consistent digital environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the Districts approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
