Oracles Government Defense & Intelligence team seeks a dynamic Technology Software Sales Professional Senior Sales Manager to drive growth and innovation across Oracle Software and broader Technology Cloud solutions for the U.S. Federal Civilian Agencies and other strategic this leadership role you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategy leading and coaching a team of technology software sales professionals strengthening executive customer relationships and ensuring operational excellence across the business.

This is a hybrid position that involves 3 days a week in-office work and/or meetings at the client site. Candidates must be based in the greater Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for Oracle Technology Software solutions within the Civilian sector identifying key opportunities and aligning Oracle offerings with agency priorities.

People Leadership & Coaching: Lead mentor and develop a team of technology Software sales professionals establishing a culture of accountability continuous improvement and sales excellence.

Pipeline & Forecast Management: Drive disciplined pipeline management forecast accuracy territory planning and execution to consistently achieve and exceed business objectives.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior Civilian sector decision-makers contracting officers and technical stakeholders to understand mission requirements and technology modernization goals.

Technology Solution Leadership: Partner with solution engineering architecture and product teams to position Oracle Software and Technology Cloud solutions that address security compliance performance and mission-critical requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing legal contracting and delivery teams to support proposals RFP/RFI responses negotiations and successful customer outcomes.

Industry Expertise: Stay informed on Civilian priorities budgets modernization initiatives cloud adoption trends and competitive market dynamics.

Qualifications / Experience

7 years of technology sales management experience preferably focused on Software infrastructure platform or enterprise technology solutions.

5 years of experience working with U.S. Civilian federal government clients preferably within Civilian or related sectors.

Demonstrated success leading coaching and developing high-performing sales teams in complex regulated environments.

Proven ability to build and execute strategic sales plans while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Strong track record of driving team performance talent development and business growth within highly regulated markets.

Bachelors degree in Business Technology or a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

Deep understanding of Federal procurement processes contract vehicles (e.g. GSA schedules IDIQs) and compliance requirements.

Strong knowledge of software licensing cloud infrastructure cloud platforms enterprise technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.

Familiarity with Oracle Software Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Technology offerings preferred.

Excellent leadership coaching communication presentation and negotiation skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required (e.g. Secret or Top Secret).

Strategic thinker results-driven adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable navigating complex organizational structures.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $144000 to $284300 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
