Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director Quality (NA) located in Raritan New Jersey West Chester Pennsylvania Palm Beach Gardens Florida Raynham Massachusetts Warsaw Indiana.

The Director Quality (NA) IT provides strategic leadership for quality validation and testing across North Americabased information technology solutions supporting DePuy Synthes. This role is accountable for ensuring technology platforms systems and processes meet regulatory compliance and business quality standards while enabling speed reliability and scalability. The Director partners closely with IT Digital Cybersecurity and business leaders to embed quality into the full technology lifecycle and to drive continuous improvement across enterprise systems.Reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee IT Quality strategy for North America including quality governance testing validation and continuous improvement across enterprise and commercial systems.

  • Direct managers and senior individual contributors in a matrix environment providing coaching performance management and talent development.

  • Establish andmaintainquality standards processes and metrics for software development system validation and release management.

  • Partner with IT Digital and business stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout system design development testing deployment and support.

  • Oversee risk identification mitigation planning andissueescalation related to system quality compliance and reliability.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory corporate and internal quality requirementsimpactingIT systems and data integrity.

  • Use data dashboards and KPIs tomonitorquality performance and drive improvements across IT platforms and services.

  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal partners toalign onquality expectations testing approaches and delivery standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering ora relatedfield.

  • Preferred:Masters degree ina technical engineering or business discipline.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 1012 years of progressive experience in IT Quality Quality Assurance Testing or Validation roles including leadership responsibility.

  • Demonstrated experience leading managers and senior professionals in a matrixedglobalor regional environment.

  • Strong knowledge of software quality practices system testing methodologies and technology lifecycle management.

  • Experienceestablishingquality metrics dashboards and governance processes to support enterprise technology platforms.

  • Proven ability to partner with IT business and external stakeholders to deliver complianthighqualitytechnology solutions.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting regulated environments (e.g. medical device healthcare or life sciences IT systems).

  • Familiarity withriskbasedvalidation test automation and modern delivery models (Agile/DevOps).

  • Strong change leadership and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Experience working withthirdpartyvendors and managed service providers.

Other

  • Language:English (fluent).

  • Travel:Up to 1020% primarily within North America.

  • Certifications:Quality testing or technology certifications (e.g. ISTQB Six Sigma)preferred.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

150000USD - 300000USD

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
