Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this Technician position is assisting in the development of Right of Way maps in the Property Office as directed by the Professional Land Surveyor.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Research of highway ROW and private boundary plans deeds layouts and other pertinent town or state documents;
CADD drafting of moderately complex existing condition plans (right of way and property) and
Determining the property rights needed to complete final right of way mapping under the guidance of senior employees and PLS.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Understand and calculate survey mathematics
- Draft plans in CADD
- Positively interact with project managers senior property officers legal staff and
- Meet project deadlines
Preference will be given tocandidates with boundary survey or comparable engineering background.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence ofthe following experience:
Education training and/or experience in engineering a technical field or another related area demonstrating competency in reviewing technical plans drafting diagrams and reports collecting data and analyzing datasets for trends.
